I have been on bedrest since 27 weeks (now 35 weeks) for a different reason---low amniotic fluid. I feel for you as bedrest has been one of the most difficult challenges of my life! You get so sore, weak, and bored! I hope it works for you so you can keep those babies in as long as possible.

Congrats!!! I think your clinic made a big mistake and you should investige the negative blood test. You can have a negative HPT and a + blood test but not vice versa. The blood test is the most specific test for pregnancy. If your HCG was high enough to make a HPT + there is no way for the blood ...

I'm on my second pregnancy (31 weeks now) and both times my boys have hiccups inside all of time and my first continued for quite some time after he was born. 1st is completely normal with no cord issues and so far this one is developing normally. Relax and enjoy the extra movement!

You want to monitor the trend of the baby's growth. If it's small but consistently growing along the same curve things are usually okay. If the baby was growing normally and then suddenly starts to get behind then there is usually a problem. Just relax, eat healthy, hydrate, and lay a lot on your ...

I'm a physician and did my homework and subsequent ICSI for male factor infertility without reservation. I now have a very advanced/healthy 2 yr old and I'm 30 weeks pregnant with another boy that by US appears completely normal. Without ICSI I would not have children.....I can't imagine life ...

You have a 50/50 chance or less with each IVF cycle. It sounds like things went smoothly so I would just chalk it up to chance at this point. My first IVF ended in a chemical pregnancy. 2nd IVF BFP. Subsequent frozen embryo transfer BFN. 3rd IVF BFP. So as you can see I fell into those 50/50 odds ...

FYI, My amniotic fluid increased by over 30% with bedrest and oral hydration. My once breech baby now has enough fluid to turn around and has become vertex. I now get to get out of bed 4 hours a day but still no working. My baby is still growing great and they have not been able to determine why ...

Anyone with low amniotic fluid?

I'm 27 weeks gest with an AFI <5. I'm currently on bedrest and pushing fluids to see if this helps. Has anyone been through this and had success with increasing their fluid?

I has this book but I did not read it until I had had no sleep for 8 weeks after my son was born. I put him on a similar schedule (mainly not letting him sleep after he ate) and we were sleeping through the night in 1 week. Definitely a good read and I plan on re-reading it before the birth of my ...

I had a very sore tush and started to give them in the muscle of the upper outer thigh. They hurt less there as well! I would stick with the shots until at least 10 weeks. If you change to supp and miscarry you'll always wonder. The pain is totally worth it in the end!

Quita, thanks for the update. Anyone who cannot find the fetal heartbeat with a doppler by 12-14 weeks is an idiot! I could hear mine with a home doppler at 9 weeks. I'm sorry that you have to wait so long to hear yours. I just hope we don't turn into socialized medicine here in the US....it seems ...
