Delayed cycle after failed IVF normal??

Hi,

Can anyone share if it is normal for my cycle to be late after a failed IVF? Well I had a cancelled IVF and got AF on 26th day instead of my usual 28-day cycle and it was a heavy & long one.

I am now waiting for a natural cycle and it's now late by 3 days! Is this normal? For how many cycle ...

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the concerns and for asking the benefits of acupuncture for me. I think I want to give it a try. No harm trying... Does it cost a lot?

Kelly - don't get paranoid. A little cramp might mean the embies are implanting! Just relax and I'm sure you'll have good news for all of ...

Kelly, Talisen_cat,

Thanks for sharing with me your personal experience and the comforting words. That cycle was really upsetting and have had enough of crying. Now I guess I have to make sure that my body is in healthy condition before I embark on the next cycle. How long do you think I should ...

Micro-flare, anyone?

Hi,

I had a cancelled cycle due to low response. Produced only 4 follies and 2 eggs retrieved. Out of the 2, 1 was abnormal, and the other did not fertilize. RE recommended micro-flare protocol in my next cycle. Anyone on this protocol? How different is this from the conventional ones?

Hi,

I'm back with bad news. The nurse called us early in the morning of Sat, the day when I was supposed to have ET. Our cycle was cancelled. Went to see the RE. He explained that my eggs were not good. One was not normal, the other didn't survive fertilization. And he said I have problems with my ...

Hey everyone,

Back from ER and it's not too bad except a little groggy yesterday. Today is much better. RE retrieved 2 eggs only from the 4 follies..... Do not know the quality and hopefully all got fertilized. My clinic does not give you a ring on the status. We just have to be at the clinic ...

Hi alittlegrace,

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Went for an u/s scan today and they found 4 follies. They are at average 19mm. My E3 today is 1786 pg/mL, which means each one is at 446.5. Will take a HCG jab tonight and the ER is on Oct 18. Hopefully everything turns out well. <fingers ...

Hi everyone,

I'm back. Went for a final scan and they found 4 follies instead of 3! :D You can imagine how happy I am even though just 1 folly appeared after the 2nd type of FSH. They are growing well measuring average 19mm. E3 at 1786 pg/mL. Is this high or low?? Taking the HCG jab tonight at 10 ...

Hi talisen_cat & jen_babes,

I went for 2nd u/s scan today and the same 3 follies remain. No new follies despite the Luverin jab.... Follies increased to 12mm on day 8 stims. So I need to continue for another 3 days before doing another scan if the follies are mature. The drugs are costing me a bomb ...

Hi Alittlegrace,

You responded to my another post, but I thought to share with you on my non/slow-response to stims.

My clinic did only the scan but not the blood test to determine my E3. So I have no idea where it stands. Today went to the clinic again (after day 8 stims) and they see the same ...

Low response to stims - endo the cause??

Hi,

I just went for my 1st u/s scan after 4 days of stims (on 450 iu of Gonal-F) and they found 3 follies only which are between 8-10mm. My RE said I'm responding poorly. He added another drug called Luveris (75 iu) hoping more follies will appear.

Question - has this got anything to do with the ...

Hi everyone,

I started stims on 10/5 with the max dosage of Gonal-F (450 iu) and went for an u/s scan yesterday. They found 3 follicles only. Not a good result and I was disappointed. Kelly, I'm a later bloomer than you!! RE added another type of injection for me, called Luveris, which is suppose ...
