riogirl71 - Congratulations on your baby boy. Thanks for the information. Unfortunately Monterey bay is about 2 hours from where I live, so would be hard to get to. I am looking for clinics in/near the peninsula area.

RE in bay area, california - Zouves or PFC?

I am looking for a new RE in the bay area. The 2 clinics I am evaluating now are PFC in SF and Zouves clinic in Daly city. I was wondering if anyone has used either of these clinics and has any good/bad experiences to share. I did 2 failed IVF cycles with FPNC and would like to try a new clinic for ...

Hi Diane,

Thanks a lot for your reply. My journey has been a little frustrating. My last RE and another RE that I sent my reports to pretty much said that I had a t-shaped uterus and that would cause all kind of issues - ectopic/implantation issues etc etc. One of them said surrogate is my best ...

Ladies - thanks for all the support. Had a long chat with my RE today. Unfortunately he is one of those guys who doesn't believe in the PGD testing much. In anycase in the last cycle we only ended up with 2 embies, so not much to choose from. All this is terribly confusing for me. There seems to be ...

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA last few days. Unfortunately last few days have been pretty hard for me. My beta numbers never increased normally and now they have started to go down. So as of today my RE has pulled the plug on the PIO shots. So this is definitely over for me. We have had a crying ...

Anyone else diagnosed with t-shaped uterus?

I have been diagnosed with a t-shaped uterus that has smaller than normal capacity. I have gotten pregnant multiple times now, but the pregnancy seems to end up either in the wrong place or ends with a m/c. I was wondering if there is anyone who was diagnosed with the same issue and still went on to ...

kbear - good luck with ER today. Don't worry yourself with the nunbers yet. Just relax.

Kate - Thanks, I did check that page. I panicked a bit yesterday because of my history of ectopic but I have decided not to let that pull me down. I am going keep PMA and hope I am just a slow starter.

Sue ...

Just got back the numbers from my second beta this morning - they aren't looking so good yet. It didn't increase by a minimum of 66% as they expected. Today's number was 63 - pretty close to the 66% mark but not quite there.

Cornybaby - congratulations and I sure hope my embies also are fighters ...

Beenar - I am so sorry about your BFN. I hope you can take some time off before your next steps.

kate65 - your fert report sounds great!! If you do PDG does that mean you would do a 5day transfer instead of 3-day?

Angela - welcome! Yeah the 2ww is hard but the 3 hour wait for the blood test ...

Sue Hu - I also had only 4 eggs retrieved out of which only 2 fertilized and grew well for day3 transfer. So as everyone else said, don't worry about the numbers. What is important is to have good quality embies at the end of it. Hoping that your embies grow well for your day 3.

Good luck to all ...
