Hi all,

I've not posted on here for several months now - as I didn't feel as though I could contribute much. IVF is still (and has been for a while the next step), with a complicated medical history, my Dr is reluctant to try IVF until the very.very.very end of the road - which is fair enough ...

Hi Mia,

I felt so sad reading your posting - your heart sounds so heavy. I agree with DebP that some form of counselling might be a good idea - the challenge is likely to be getting him to agree to it. However, counselling might be a way for both of you to demonstrate your commitment to getting ...

I can imagine how scarey it must have been for you - people should never have to go through things like this - but much as it sucks - they do, and its normally the good guys!

It is so up to you ...

I think thats really sweet and not at all a jinx - don't let yourself think like that! My DH has a nik-name picked out for when we get that far down the road 'fluff'! 'Squidgy' was used by my now pregnant sister in law so we're keeping this nik name quiet!

Very best of luck to all!

I honestly find one of the hardest things to deal with is a happy mum to be - it makes me sound terrible and it brings out the worst in me. My DH and I had the most awful Xmas day surrounded by his sister and family talking about nothing but the new baby, the nursery, names, clothes - the unborn ...

Amers,

I can really understand just how you felt receiving those phone calls. Sometimes it just seems to cruel when there are a spate of pregnancies that close to home. Its a weird feeling - I don't want them not to be pregnant - I just want to know what it feels like for me.

When I get ...

Hi Thistle,

So sorry you've had 3 no-gos' - must have been very drustrating watching a programme so far removed from your reality. I'll keep all fingers and toes crossed for you with the next round!

I found out last week my DH and I would need IVF - so REALLY early days. Programme was a bit of a ...

Thanks for the welcome!! Its lovely to get a response!

I don't really mind if no-one has any specific experience of IVF and Transplants - though any information which comes my way can only help - I'm just really grateful to finally find somewhere honest, open and supportive where I can feel ...

I can talk for hours about my choice of baby names - I think it helps to keep the dream alive. I just start to get a bit sensitive when pregnant friends start talking about the same names that I've had 'dibs' on for years!

Still - I guess its not all that important. When it happens for us - the ...
