Our beautiful little girl!!

Dear All

It's taken me a week to get a chance to let you all know that on Easter Sunday, 5am I gave birth to Thea Victoria - so only 2 days late thankfully (her Dad was going away on the induction dateof the 19th, so I was so worried he'd miss it!) She is absolutely gorgeous, 6lb2oz.

I'm happy to ...

You poor old thing Tracey! Good that you're starting to feel better, so fingers crossed it'll continue like that. And there was me getting miffed as I feel like I'm coming down with a cold (mind you, had at least three since being pregnant). Just worried I'll feel rubbish and won't be able to ...

Congratulations, that's fantastic news Bertie - 5 weeks early and hey, just a bit of gas and air to get you through the hard bit - very impressive! (Hope I can do that!)

All the very best for the future.

Hi Hayley

That's really spooky! I have to say I haven't come across many others since being on this site, who have had this same problem with the sperm fertilizing the eggs. That first time, I gave half my eggs away (11) as part of egg share and it was a bit of a shock when the embryologist told us ...

Dear Hayley

So sorry to hear your news. But if it helps at all, I too also had this and my bubs is due in two days time. At 7 weeks there were two sacs, one slightly smaller and at 9 weeks the little one had just disappeared.

The day before, another girl Susi from this site, had the very same ...

Hello strangers...

Gawd, this site has changed and there's so many lovely new positives out there! Just wanted to say hi to any of those who remember me, though most of those have been and had their babies! I'm mighty curious about Dawn Blake - has anyone heard from her?? Don't know if you still visit Susi, maybe drop ...

Ah Di and Dagny, so there are some fellow small-boobied people out there! Di, I'm mortified that woman said that! I don't think I want to go and get measured now... I've been putting it off anyway as I don't think there's much point still. So I'll hang on till a few weeks...!

TraceyS - I've been ...

Can you spare a thought for the opposite problem, I'm getting sick and tired of people saying I'm not very big! After a while it makes you paranoid and you start thinking the little fella isn't growing enough! I had my 32 week midwife appt yesterday and I told her this and she measured my fundus ...

A huge congratulations to you Michelle. Your email was really touching and i'm so sorry you had a bit of a nightmare getting there, but everything turned out fine.

The good thing about having a biggun is that they need less feeds I believe - so you've already got a distinct advantage there!

Take ...

4th attempt EC this Friday

Just want to say the very best of luck Sam - I was successful on my 4th attempt, so keep positive.

And Lisa, like you we had failed fertilisation on the first go, failed 2 ICSI's and then had a success with frozen embies. I was totally negative on the fourth go, trying not to build my hopes ...

20 week scan at last

So nice to get your replies - I've been a bit slack participating on this site as I don't come on every day and there's always so much to catch up on.

Re. the bump - I did go through a phase during weeks 15-19 of being really worried as it wasn't very big, but I now actually feel like it ...

For thoes who remember me.

Just want to say a huge congratulations to you Mandy. I first visited the site in summer of 2002 but not sure if I remember you. I remember being so inspired by a girl called Chris who was successful on her fifth attempt. I never thought I'd be on this side of the board either and had started to ...

20 week scan at last

Just had to report that I had my 20 week scan this morning and everything was just fine. Just amazing to see its little face - had its gob open quite a lot of the time(!?) but thankfully it no longer looked like Homer - as at 11.5weeks... Bit disappointed that the policy at our NHS hospital is not ...

good news at 21 week scan

Congratulations Zoe (and Louise and Jo!) You really got me excited as my 20 week scan is next Monday (well it's 20wks Friday, but typically my DH is away working then). It must have been so wonderful seeing all the detail and seeing him so active. I've still got the memory of seeing our one move an ...

a gradeing question

Please don't worry about your grades - I had two ICSI cycles using 2 fresh grade 1's which failed, but this time, using 2 frozen grade 2's and a grade 2.5 resulted in our first ever positive. There doesn't seem to be any hard and fast rules, so everything crossed for you getting a positive.
<br ...
