I just got my first period since Adriana was born (April 5th). She's almost 5 months and I am nursing still. However it was- and still is- really heavy - almost as heavy as after her birth... Didn't expect it coming either. I have been so used to not having one.

Infertility treatments are a state thing. It depends on what state you live in whether or not they are covered and what coverage you get.

The biggest problem with the do's and don'ts of the 2ww is that every doctor gives different instructions. I've heard from this board alone...

Use heat, don't use heat
Bed rest, no bed rest
Sex, no sex
Exercise as normal, light exercise, no exercise
You can lift, do not lift

The only thing that I ...

First - Call your Doctor.

Second - from what i understand, OHSS can get worse because of pregnancy. I don't think it will effect it in a negative way. This could be a good sign, just drink lots of fluid and do whatever else the doctor says.

Good luck and lots of baby dust your way!

I've read hot showers can help implantation, but looks like every doc has different dos and donts. I say do whatever makes you comfortable and less stressed. Personally I think being stress free is the key, not all of those other things like baths, lifting, exercise, etc.

I did not receive any implantation bleeding with any of my 3 pregnancies. Don't worry. Everyone's body is different and does different things. Also, your mind can play tricks on you and sometimes people feel things that aren;t really there. I know I did!

Good Luck with your 2WW. Baby dust to you!

My DH wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else at that moment other them holding my hand and giving me encouragement to remain calm. This is OUR baby and he wanted to take part in everything form the first visit to the cuddling after birth.

Good luck. You should do whatevr keeps you less stressed ...

I have avoid all deli meats. I don't want to take any chances. I do have grilled ham and cheeses and hot roast beef sandwiches, but I cook the deli meat before putting it on the sandwiches. Everyone thinks I'm nuts, but I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I ended up with listeriosis and hurt my ...
