My DH had a SCSA (DNA fragmentation analysis).

Out Dr said a high level of fragmentation could be addressed by antioxidents (cannot remember the specific dose) and/or removing sperm from the testes.

Apparently a great deal of damage to sperm dna can occur in the trip down the urinary tract.

I agree with the PP. This first cycle is an opportunity for your Drs to see how you respond to meds. A lot can change between cycles.

Many women have success with FET cycles over Fresh. Ghost has commented on the benefits to the uterine lining of a non-medicated cycle ...

I always ovulate after a failed IVF stim cycle. Often a couple of days late.

Firstly, I am really sorry that it did not work.

I agree, I think you were over stimulated.

If you would not do another cycle there I would not bother with a follow up appointment. Take your dosage, results and thoughts to a new clinic and speak to a new doctor.

I changed clinics for IVF#3 & #4 ...

I took all my shots at the same time.

Sometimes I was injecting suppressor, FSH and HCG. I agree with the pp, opposites side of the belly.

No symptoms from about 12dpo (no sore boobs, no cramps).

Then started getting sore boobs from around 16dpo...

13 tests...4 of those were opks - does that fact make me more crazy or less crazy? Not sure.

After about 6 tests I hid my "stash" from DH.

ahhhh....nothing like going to the supermarket checkout with a basketful of HPTs.

AF was never delayed, but I usually ovulated later on the first cycle after IVF.

I was at Melb IVF too for my first two stim cycles. I was working in Sydney quite a bit last year so visited a Dr there and did my last two stim cycles at Sydney IVF earlier this year.

Everyone at Melb IVF was really great, very professional.

Came off the pill in 2005, lap/hyst in April 2006 ...

I am really, really sorry. I am sure you did everything you could to ensure a success. But really, there is not a great deal we can do that makes much of an impact.

I hope your upcoming FET goes really well.

I am from Melb too...

Advice for 2ww...I don't really have much. You will be stressing out, it is completely normal and it won't impact the success of your cycle at all.

I really hope this is your first and last stim cycle.

n.b. I have my 7 week scan on the 29th...it will be a big day ...
