Though I have gained almost 40 pounds in total (I'm at 36 weeks with a boy), everyone is always telling me how "small" I look. But my bump has been measuring in the normal range - at least that's what the doctor's tell me ...

Hi everyone - I'm in my 34th week now and have been working full time throughout. I thought I'd start a thread for others who are experiencing the same things. Such as:

1. Exhaustion

2. No empathy from co-workers

3. Inconvenience of doctor appointment juggling

Two things:

Avoid baths - some places don't tell you that, but it's important.

Resist the temptation to take a HPT during 2ww. It's hard, but I've heard too many stories about misleading results. They are just heartbreaking.

Thank you everybody for your replies - it all really helps a lot. My ob practice is very good, and I really like the doctors. But while I know they see IVF moms, they are very cautious about the whole thing. All this time I'd been feeling like "I'm just pregnant like everyone else!"
