bromocriptine anyone?

i'm nearing the end of the stim portion of my 2nd ivf cycle and haven't responded as well as on my 1st cycle. my RE has pondered taking it out one more day, but is concerned that my progesterone has been elevated (~1.2) for the past 3 days and my prolactin today is elevated to 46. he wants to start ...

Are you out there Ghost?

Hi Ghost-

I was hoping you might be able to lend me a little expertise. I just completed my 1st IVF cycle and it was unsuccessful. We had no fertilization. We tried rescue ICSI and had 10 of my 17 eggs fertilize. Ultimately put back 3 embryos that were 5, 6, and 7 cells. But it ended up not working ...

Hi Kbat,

I'm sorry to say, I don't have any answers for you, but I can relate. I just got a BFN for my 1st IVF cycle on wednesday. It was such a disappointment. But it really shouldn't have been. We had NO fertilization at day 1 as well. It was a complete shock to my RE and for us. Neither my ...

Hello Ladies,

Congratulations to all the BFP's out there. And I am so sorry for those who have received bad news. As for me, I have a while to go in this limbo-land. I don't test until wed the 30th. And for now, I don't think I'll POAS. But ask me again tomorrow and who knows.

Well it was back ...

Hello Ladies,
Well it was back to work for me today, after a week off. It's a good thing though. I can spend hours otherwise pondering everything I'm feeling. I'm actually doing fine. I've had some cramping and I have no idea what it means. I've heard it can be from the PIO shots, implantation or ...

Brandi-
For my protocol, I started BCPs on either on the 1st or maybe the 2nd or 3rd days of my period (I don't exactly remember). I then started Lupron about a week later. And I took 10u once a day in the evening for a week. Then I started stims and continued the Lupron but cut it down to 5u. That ...

Hi Brandi-

So far I'm feeling pretty good. Thanks for checking on me. I haven't had any real symptoms, but it's only been 2 days. I think implantation can occur anywhere where from 6-10 days post fertilization which would be from tomorrow on for me. And it sounds like people range all all over the ...

Bunky99 - This is our 1st IVF. I'm 34 and we've been trying for about 2 yrs. No good reason for why things haven't worked - just unexplained infertility. We were thinking would we transfer 2. But we had a setback on day 1 with no fertilization and had to do rescue ICSI. Thankfully 10 of the 17 eggs ...

Bunky99,
I'm sorry you're feeling so down. It sounds like you guys have been through the ringer. I just wanted to send you some positive thoughts. Sometimes we can't come up with them for ourselves, but that's why this site is so great. We can lend them to each other and try to help get us all ...

Well they're in. 3 of them. we decided to transfer the best looking 3, which were a 7 cell a 6 cell and a 5 cell. My RE would have normally done 2 since I'm < 35, but we had a bit of a roller coaster ride after the ER. The next day we actually had NO! fertilization. He was shocked and we were ...

hi babysteps,
Sounds like you are borderline or subclinical hypothyroid. This is really not a big deal and you could probably not treat, IF you weren't TTC. Even though your TSH may technically be in the normal range it is not optimized and quite frankly we just don't now how all these hormones ...
