Hi there .. I went for my baseline ultrasound this morning and i found out I have a small cyst in one of my ovaries. My RE has me coming in tomorrow to aspirate it ... then she is VERY hopeful that I can continue on my IVF cycle as planned. Has anyone had this happen? Is this procedure very painful ...

christie76 - I was told to leave the needle in for 5 seconds (and my instructional DVD from Dr.) told me that too for Lupron. I have had bleeding with lupron injection, but not like you described.

Hi there again ... well just to give an update I am still on the Lupron train. No symptoms at all yet, but fear the stims might do me in.

My ER is 09/27/07 ... I am right at the same time as you guys!

well from what I have read and with talking to others that could be the hormones (the progesterone - prometrum does give that effect) but so can pregnancy.

The acu doctor told me she wants me to come twice a week until retrival. That seems like a lot and it really expensive. $60 each time. YIKES

Actually I called my doctor's office the other day and she said that I will not be doing any intramuscle shots at all ever. So YIPEE! I have to take (shots) Lupron, Follistim, & Menopur. And of course the hCG shot. And all of those are done with insulin needles.
