Thanks for the replies. I am 7 days past egg retrieval for my 3rd IVF. I had no problems with progesterone levels during my 1st two IVF cycles, so I doubt there really is a problem with where and how we are injecting them. My progesterone level has not been checked this cycle yet.

Ghost: I had my 1st transvaginal u/s at 7w1d after ER and the RE saw a yolk sac and fetal pole, but no heartbeat. The fetal pole was measuring a week behind at around 4.9mm (and the RE said she normally likes to see it measuring around 20mm at this point).

Our 1st IVF ended in a BFN as well. It sucked. But I knew we weren't 100% assured it would be successful.

Anyway, we made no changes to the protocol for our 2nd IVF. We ended up what seemed to be an identical cycle as the 1st one. But this time, it resulted in a BFP.

I am on PIO injections for IVF and I am almost 6 weeks pregnant. I haven't really had sore boobs at all. And other "symptoms" have come and gone hourly, daily, etc. I know it's easier said than done, but please try not to analyze every symptom or even beta levels. It will just drive you crazy!

I think it depends on how each person's body takes the meds. I didn't gain any weight at all. So it isn't a sure thing that you will.
